Our challenge was to devise a site plan that offered the autonomy and dignity of personal town homes with the amenities and tailored medical care of a senior community. By arranging the townhouses with sidewalk accessibility and centralized amenities, residents are able to socialize and congregate with neighbors. Included in each of the two different floor plans is a small entry courtyard to give residents a green space to garden and relax in privacy, as well as a one car garage with additional space for a golf cart.
WMB-ROI provided helpful consulting for the clients, working with local municipalities to mitigate costly setbacks. In addition, WMB-ROI assisted the client with U.S Department of Housing and Development funding compliance, as well as providing quality control and regular inspections, adhering to the strictest accessibility standards. The next phase will include an Assisted Living Facility that will bring in-home support to the senior community in an effort to allow residents to live independently at home for as long as possible.
