WMB-ROI (project management) worked with GRUMA Corp. on a fast-track site, facility and manufacturing expansion of their Mission Foods Manufacturing Facility in Lakeland, Florida to support increased production needs. The expansion included the construction of a new 100-car parking lot and associated site infrastructure, four new production lines for both corn and wheat tortillas, two new flour silos, upgraded electrical services with downstream feeders, and three new cool boxes. Additionally, interior renovations were completed to increase the existing cafeteria and implement a new training room. WMB-ROI (project management) worked with process engineers and GRUMA leadership to coordinate the fast-tracked design and construction to meet critical deadlines and the $21M project budget.
